A Preponderance. A Poem

It's on the radio
My personal anthem
Wake me up by Avicii.
How bizarre that
I just wrote about sleep.

It amazes me
This mind of mine
To almost foretell
I know it is just coincidence
But still..
It's a preponderance.

Will I be wiser
When I am older?
I need action
Not just thought
Ask me if I have made
A dent in my bucket
List of dreams.
Will it make me happier
Will it heighten
My self-esteem?

I think
Therefore I am
Yes my mind
Still works
Quite well
Too bad it can't
Get me to move!
Am I too weighed down?
Maybe my pondering
Could lighten up
And let me
Live a little
If not more!

 It's true. I had just finished commenting about going back to sleep on one of my poems regarding inspiration. And voila! Wake Me Up by Avicii comes on the radio...

consideration and benediction
grow broader wider lengthen
