 Holy cow I was just in the grocery this morning and the prices are unreal! 4 bucks for a lousy small head of limp iceberg??? No bagged salad only butter lettuce with roots still attached. That's a thing? Can I just replant it?

 I switched to Cole Slaw Salad years ago. It has chopped green cabbage and shredded carrots, I just don't add the dressing. I make salads, put it on sandwiches, I've even put it in scrambled eggs. I'll never go back to iceberg lettuce.

 we're also struggling. Although I do like some of those other weird lettuces like endive and some of the purple ones. Oh and putting spinach in, isn't really helping either. And don't even think of offering chopped kale.
